TREASURE CAY

    Treasure Cay is world renown for it’s famous three-mile beach that was rated by National Geographic as one of the top ten beaches in the world. Treasure Cay is a relaxed, tropical 1,500 acre beach resort on Abaco with a magnificent 3 1/2 mile white sand beach, a well-protected 150 slip marina, an 18-hole, 6,985 yard, Dick Wilson designed golf course and world-class fishing and diving. 

    Treasure Cay has many canal waterways with deep-water draft and protected moorings. All of the canals are bulk headed and utilities are at the roadside. There are several condo communities on the canal along with new developments such as Carlton Landing under construction. Most condos offer dockage and are quite popular as weekly vacation rentals.

     The main beach of Treasure Cay is lined with million dollar homes and several condo complexes. Homes on the beach average in price of 1.5 million dollars and condos in the $600,000 range. Bahama Beach Club is an 11-building complex of 4 units per building with a second phase set to begin in 2005. These units are 1600 square feet each and are a great investment for persons wanting to rent their units weekly when not occupying them.

    Treasure Cay’s second homeowners are mostly snowbirds from the northeast, Canada, and Europe and are big golfers and beachcombers. The summer is a popular fishing destination with their annual tournaments being held in June along with the Bahamas Billfish Tournament.
