Brent was born and raised in Nassau.  His families love for the islands had him often traveling around the islands throughout his childhood, thus establishing his love for Abaco.

     After completing his high school education he traveled with Operation Raleigh through the jungles of Indonesia participating in a variety of community and scientific projects.  He returned to Nassau and headed off to Barry University in Florida.
     After one year, his sense of adventure put him in the pine barrens of Abaco with Operation Raleigh participating in scientific studies and community work for the Abaco Forest Reserve.
A short trip to England for an Operation Raleigh reunion led to almost a year long stay in London. A job in a local Pub led to his career in the food and beverage industry and he returned to Nassau and opened two restaurants and bars.  but a desire for the island life brought him to Abaco where he worked at Mangoes for several years.  Real Estate had been in his mind for years and in 1998 he obtained his Bahamas Real Estate Association License.
He opened up a satellite office of Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty in Marsh Harbour under his Broker Mike Lightbourn.  He gained five years of experience and extensive knowledge of the Abaco Real Estate Market during this time.
     Shortly after his move to Abaco he met a lovely young lady, Layna Whiting, and after a short courtship of three years they were married in Green Turtle cay.  They have three children, Brianna, Brian, and Tanner.  Layna is a personal trainer with a real passion for fitness and running.  They both plan to run a half marathon in 2004, as Brent has also come to enjoy running like his wife.
     Brent could not be more content with his move to Abaco. His new life long venture with Aisle of Palms Realty looks like a bright future.
